Why I picked it up? Reading MUV whet my appetite for more information on this fascinating family of political extremes and privilege. I found this on my Aunt’s bookshelf and added it to my queue. Written in the first person in the voices of Nancy, Diana and Unity Mitford, gives the accounts great vitality.
Who would I pass it on to? Any millennial or Gen Zer looking to the past to understand the present. There is a certain romance novel quality to the accounting, which tries to rationalize the decisions made by both Diana and Unity.

Marie Benedict is a lawyer with more than ten years of experience as a litigator.
