Why I picked it up?
Lives of the Saints has been on my shelf forever. It’s a book that made me laugh out loud, wonder at language and want to meet the characters.

Why I picked it up? I found this book on a friend’s bookshelf. She has a great collection of second hand books that is always worth a look when I stay. The cover certainly caught my eye. Turns out that Nothing to See Here is about two kids who catch on fire when they are stressed or angry.

Why I picked it up? Elizabeth Strout won the Pulitzer Prize for her novel Oliver Kitteridge in 2009. The rich inner lives of the citizens of Crosby, Maine are told in and around the title character, Olive Kitteridge.
